Staying at the resort means no daily transfers out to the island, you wake up and spend the day scuba diving, joining our snorkelling safaris, or relaxing next to the pool.During the day time Manukan island (outside of the resort) can be busy with day-trippers. However we limit the number of people at the dive centre and maintain a maximum 4:1 ratio of divers to PADI Instructor or 6:1 snorkelers to guide. Coral reefs within the park offer some great scuba diving and snorkelling for beginners and experienced divers alike. Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park is also great for underwater photographers, providing lots of macro subjects in relatively shallow calm water.The coral reef feature lots of very healthy hard and soft coral. Our scuba diving guests are often very surprised to see such healthy corals so close to a city. We have 49 coral sites to choose from. Our divemasters & guides will choose the best sites depending on the sea & weather conditions, plus individual diver and snorkeler ability on the day. They are private and rusticly luxurious. All rooms have air-conditioning, satellite TV, tea & coffee making facilities, a minibar and private bathrooms. Extra beds are available for children. Interconnecting rooms are available for families.The Manukan VillasThe Manukan Villas consist of two villas ideal for friends and families. Set back from the beach area within the resorts gardens. One is a Double Storey with two bedrooms, one bedroom has a king bed and the other bedroom has two king beds. The second villa is a Single Storey with one king size bedroom and one twin sharing bedroom. All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. The Single Storey Villa is interconnected with a Beach Suite Chalet and guests can opt to book it if they are a big family or a group of friends staying together. Consist of a separate and spacious lounge area.
