4D3N Tabin Wildlife ExperienceOur 4D3N Tabin Wildlife Experience presents a longer stay package as to make sure the experience covers the most of what Tabin Wildlife Reserve has to offer.Ex Lahad Datu: Approximately 2 hours drive from the town of Lahad Datu northeast, the Tabin Wildlife Reserve is considered to be Sabah’s largest wildlife reserve, occupying a large part of the peninsula forming the northern headland of Darvel Bay. Tabin Wildlife Resort is built along the shallow banks of the Lipad River enclosed in the 1,225 km² areas that make the Tabin Wildlife Reserve, with 10 units of Hill Lodges and 10 units of River Lodges. A verandah overlooks the river of these uniquely designed timber lodges. The soft sound of the flowing water is very soothing providing the perfect ambience for a relaxing stay. Wooden boardwalk connects the network of lodges.Each lodge has a twin or double bed, air conditioning and hot shower. 2 bottles of complementary drinking water is provided daily in the room but guest are also encouraged to use the Reverse Osmosis water refilling station at the cafe. You may visit the Trogon Hall gallery to view more information on the conservation efforts in the reserve.12:00 – Lunch at Sunbird Cafe14:00 – Embark on your first jungle walk, 20 minutes of trekking through the jungle you will arrive to the elevated bare area of the active mud volcano and try to indentify various animal footprints.
