WW2 German Army long dress bayonet with frog. Marker marked on one side of the blade ricasso with the logo for Eickhorn Solingen and marked on the other side of the blade ricasso with the distributor mark for Peter Kolb Amberg. Nice clean blade, good fittings and grip. Good condition scabbard. The red felt buffer pad still in bayonet slot. A lot of heavy wear to the leather bayonet frog. Blade length approximately 9 3/4 inches. Nice condition ww2 German dress bayonet with rarely seen distributor mark.   Additional Notes: The WW2 German Army Dress Bayonet was a ceremonial version of the standard K98 bayonet, designed for parade and dress occasions rather than combat. These bayonets were often nickel-plated, featuring stag or bakelite grip plates and a black-painted scabbard. Unlike functional bayonets, they lacked a sharpened edge and were primarily ornamental.
